Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Wizamet (14)
Brush: TSC Legacy Brush
Soap: Stirling Triumph
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Stirling Triumph
Fragrance: Paco Rabanne Invictus EdT

Haven't used this Fragrance and soap in awhile and it is a close fighter with Deton-8 for my favorite Stirling ( @Joe Hackett ) soap. @GlazedBoker Gus had sent a sample of Invictus not knowing I had it already so I passed it along with other samples I finished trying, to a member of our Congregation that will enjoy testing also before returning the sample sprayers to me. What a wonderful shave and another soap scent that Rod nailed perfectly with the Cologne. Busy couple of days for me this weekend. Join the pif guessing how long I last at the up coming 3017 of @CBLSoap.com Tonsorial starting Jan 1st. Entry closes Dec 31st at Midnight. We'll have fun with it............I hope !! I am going to be out an about today so I guess I need to sniff some Spice Bomb. I think I whiffed it before and I believe I liked it. But gotta make sure. There are plenty of you liking Deton-8 a lot! But as of now...Triumph is still my favorite Stirling Scent as of late. And since you say Rod nailed the scent perfectly (I agree by the way)...I might just save a few bucks and buy his! That is if it ever comes back in stock! Great Shave today Dave!

Soap: CBL Orange Dirt
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Terre D'Hermes Splash
Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes EdT

I LOVE this scent. It's not my GOAT but I do love it and this tub of CBL is the closest to being finished at the moment. with the smallest of donut holes showing up

The Wizamet on shave 15 was smooth as can be but I can tell while I feel BBS now as I did yesterday, it isn't lasting thru the day as I like and 1st noticed yesterday and so will pitch it. Could I shave perhaps indefinitely with the blade? Yes. But if the shave isn't lasting, the blade is too dull in my book. I'm fortunate to have the full set to compliment this soap scent so will enjoy the scent all day. Visiting a different Congregation this morning for services. Have a great day Cadre !!!
