That razor looks almost like a medieval torture device! So the blade is held by the fingers agains the slots?

The teeth once folded appear to hold the bottom of the blade up against the top cap.

Brush: Paladin 26mm Vesuvius Chief
Soap: CBL Premium Cigar Shop Indian
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Citrus Witch Hazel
Aftershave 2: Avon Leather

Had a stellar shave with CBL Cigar Shop Indian, the Vector topped with Avon Leather which is a perfect match for the soap in my book. The star of the show was the new to me brush. Love the look of the handle but this knot is much softer than the other Paladins I have.

Well they stayed later to get my truck done so it's off to work today. I found they had a guy not show up last week and never called out. They couldn't get him on the phone so assume he quit. Needless to say this put them behind in a bad way all week and was the reason it took longer to get my engine swap and new clutch etc done. Clutch is grabbing too low but may be some air that needs to work out of the line and will go back if it doesn't come up higher so they can re-bleed it.

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Citrus Witch Hazel

Fragrance: Penhaligon's Endymion

Opted for a luxury shave for my #365 consecutive shave. This Nuavia Rossa scent is divine as well as feels amazing during and after the shave. Even on shave #7 on the Proline blade I got a glass smooth shave. @Majorrich Rich's Eels are chasing Dave's @NurseDave dolphins all over the place. My face feels amazing with nothing but the Humphrey's used post shave and lather soak. Will top with some Endymion before heading out the door and tackling work on the last of the warm (60's) days for some time. Have a splendid day Cadre !!!
