Shave # 313 ( 366 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Weck Sextoblade
Blade: Personna (?)
Brush: Paladin 26mm Honey Noir LE Beehive
Soap: Ballenglaugh Honey and Tobacco
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Citrus Witch Hazel
Aftershave 2: Nivea 2 in 1
Balm: LNHC Post Shave Elixir
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Bayolea

Had a nice 3 pass shave with the re-scaled Sextoblade this morning. Just a slight clean up done on the right jawline (my problem area) with the Vector. @uacowboy did a nice job on the scales. They need some polishing to bring out the shiny look of this material but a close enough match to the Beehive LE brush to make me happy. As long as it's been since using anything resembling a straight razor, I still got a better shave than I thought I would/could. No drama to report and added @LNHC post shave elixir simply because of the very dry air for this time of year. LOVE this stuff. LONG day today but Cadre Friday tomorrow for me. Make someone happy today if you can and Have a great day Cadre !!!

Nice shave Dave! And Cadre Friday, woohoo!

Did you go guardless on the Weck?
Thanks Chris and I knew you'd ask. I was going to but the blade slides out without the guard. Probably should have checked that before sending to Kyle. I'll need to do some crimping when I have time. The guard holds it in now.

Shave # 315 ( 368 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Gillette Gold Redtip
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Brush: Paladin 26mm Harlequin Chief
Soap: APR/NO Texaus
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Aqua Velva

Another FREE shave with 1 more before Shave Stick Week so went with Texaus. Been thinking of culling some more soaps as I have been getting more critical of want I want to keep. I have for awhile doing this slowly but @Spider had me thinking along those lines again. I was getting a slight reaction feeling of a burn with this one and have kept because it's a good soap and a limited release but it went to the going out shelf this morning. No drama to report. Just a nice smooth shave before heading out into the weather which is low 20's this morning.

I got the Master Bathroom shower pan installed with the drain yesterday. When going to set the back wall a big crack was seen in it just like the pan I had to exchange. Decided to return both wall packages and have a friend that does tile work come and price doing tile walls for us instead. In the end we'll like it better even if it takes longer to get it done.

Have a swell day Cadre and stay warm !!!

How many bathrooms do you have? Has your wife been using your shave den?

Great shave Dave...that's a soap I wish I would have pulled the trigger on.

I just checked out Nuavia Rossa on its website. Yikes! Nuavia products won't be finding their way to my shave den any time soon.
It is definitely a luxury soap...but one of the few that might actually be worth the price based on scent alone!
