Words of wisd..... Yeah right.... We all know better than that!

Once again...another post of Shawn's that make me realize I am pretty useless as a Man!
I remember a couple stories from the Three Truths and a Lie thread at the other place that say..

I like the can of Jolt! Sounds like something I would drink!

That can of jolt will really clean out your system if you drank it. It's basically brake cleaner.

And don't you give me that $h!t brother!!! You are a Marine Vet. Absolutely nothing useless or un-manly about that at all! I'm proud to know you and honored that you served for me. I'll never live up to that brother. You be proud!

Wow.... Let's see if I can claw my way back off the second page for a few minutes at least....

Been pretty boring with my shaves. I started out unofficially participating in KJ's one blade Feb. Got 7 shaves in with the Wizamet and called it. Seems that is about the end of them for me even jumping back to the 3 plate from the 5 plate on the 6S.
Tried a feather in it and that just wasn't a good combination. I may revisit that one though. Our humidistat was screwed up at work and it has been really dry. 10% humidity in the building when I wet in Sat. Nacet seems to be working ok though.
Been sticking with the 6S out of laziness in part, but it is a really good razor.

Real life has been busy.
6 months old and the little one has one hillbilly tooth on the bottom and two more coming in on top, so he has been a nit miserable. I really don't think he is ever going to crawl though. He pushes backwards a bit then just gets frustrated. Holding his hands though, and he will walk across the house. At least until he gets excited and starts bouncing and plops on his butt.

Work has been busy as heck. We just spent a bunch of money to upgrade the computer system on the optimized chop saw, so we've been doing a lot of work getting belts timed, replacing outdated sensors, changing air lines, and making a bunch of other adjustments.
The wood hog burned 2 sets of belts off in one day. Then it quit the next day. That time a 6 inch carriage bolt had managed to get in there and rip a tooth out binding up the head. So I spent 4 hours in there the next day on my knees grinding out and welding in that one and the other 5 that I found that were cracked.

Have to take the boss to an appointment with a spinal surgeon Fri. Going to go over options for relieving some of the compression that is contributing to her balance and pain issues. The MS doctor is wanting to start her on a new pill. Sounds good as it is only an 8 or so day cycle per year, but it is also basically chemo in a pill. So not sure how that's going to go yet.

So as usual, just one thing after another, but I'm still kicking so far.

Kidding! Busy man you are. Would be cool to see these machines in action when you get them going.

Hope you guys find something that works out for your wife.

Wow, Shawn, You certainly have a lot on your plate. MS treatments have come a long way in the last few years. Hope this new medicine helps your wife.

Still kicking.
Still boring rushed shaves...
Really been enjoying the 6s though. And the CBL and Parsons soaps that I've mainly been using. Couldn't even tell you what blade is in the razor at the moment though.... Probably a Nacet or a GSB. Leaning towards the GSB though...

Work has still been busy. The wood hog has still been miserable. After all the work I did inside, it has still gone through 3 sets of belts. Did tear apart the gearbox and replace a couple of the taper bearings and the belt sheave though. Only went through one set of belts after that so far. That was on the day I took the Mrs. to the spinal DR., they left the guard off the belts that time (It's in it's own room so no real danger) and also found a piece coming loose that showed us where that carriage bolt came from.

Spinal Dr. wants to do some more MRIs, so we are waiting on that and the insurance to figure out where we are going from there.

Had a "hit and run" last night in the front yard. Someone who was most likely drunk took out my mailbox. Hope it really screwed up their car.....

And the little pain in the butt now has two hillbilly teeth. He's not sleeping very consistently though, so he gets to be a pain sometimes. He has eczema pretty bad and the Dr. said he most likely isn't producing enough melatonin, so we have some supplement for him when the not sleeping gets bad. He's still adorable though, and that is my completely biased opinion!

I dunno, I think someone left a screwdriver on the machine and it fell down between the gears.
