They did a great job making that look like a badger knot. I'd be interested to hear what you think of the brush.

After a few shaves with it I'm quite impressed. It's soft tips feel great, but it still has a good amount of backbone, which is what I like in a brush. So many synthetics are set too high & splay all over the place, & flail lather. So far, I'm liking the Simpson quite a bit!

I've purchased a few in the past couple of weeks. First was an old Ever Ready brush that I had a 20mm synthetic silvertip knot put in. Next is a Turn "N Shave handle with a 26mm White Manchurian knot. Last, a 24mm Yaqu High Mountain silvertip.

Thanks, it feels great in the hand. The photo doesn't show, but there are tiny gold specks in the clear & blue parts of the handle. The specks look really cool in the clear part, suspended in thin air!

It's me again.
I've really been enjoying the Muhle 21mm synthetic silvertip so decided to grab a 23mm Muhle Silvertip Fiber brush. The black handle is the 23mm. The second picture are the two side-by-side.

My latest addition is a badger. Yep, I still prefer the real deal. This is a VP LeonHardy 23mm 2 band silvertip. It's a German brush. They are known for something I didn't know was possible, a higher loft but with backbone so it isn't floppy. This will be fun to get to know & see if it's true.

Unfortunately he had no info on it other than its supposed to be a badger knot... I like it anyway broken in nice and soft.
