Progress report on the indoor garden things


Strawberries getting a slower start but the are growing.

Lettuce, basil and tomatoes doing well

Peppermint also slow to start but growing, purple chilies and cilantro doing well.

Spaghetti squash, pumpkin, and butternut squash have taken over

That will be tasty come mid-October!

Can any of those cross pollinate? I've heard some can and the results are usually not good.

Nice pumpkin! We only have flowers still and I think we will not get any edible squash this year.

Now, tomatoes on the other hand!.....

And we have a mutant of unknown origin that sprang up from last year's cast-offs....
No, not the little one above my fingers, the single one on the right, which includes what looks like another tomato below it, but its the same one!

We had our first spaghetti squash out of the garden today! So much more flavor!

I’ve been eating a ton more veggies these days and really wish I had a garden to get them from. Squash and peppers from the garden would be a major improvement over the imposters I’ve had so far.

I’ll pass on the mutant tomatoes though. I do like fresh beefsteak tomatoes but i’m Not crazy about most other kinds. ....corn, oh how I’d love some corn

Just finished washing some Satsumas that are dropping from the tree. Had to throw about the same amount away because I didn't get to them soon enough. Still have a ton on the tree that I will need to pull off on the next day or two.
