What a jam! 7 1/2 minutes of awesomeness from a 1990 live concert in Germany!
Starts with vamping on the hook from Eddie's 1967 tune "Listen Here", but then just keeps grooving outward from there!
@MarkB, the bass player is rockin' a 6-string bass!

Nice! Those Fender Bass VIs are nice guitars. I could never play one though because of the super tight string spacing. They sound great though.

This is a musical instrument called Cuica (sounds like kooweeka and no, it's not the name of an up and coming startup in Silicon Valley). “The Cuica is a Brazilian friction drum with a large pitch range, produced by changing tension on the head of the drum.
