The 18 year I had as a pour at a bar and fell in love. It's really good. Not sure when I'll open my bottle. Feels special occasion.I have never had it, I will let you know.

Ok, thanks. Unfortunately I don't ever see those EC offerings at my local store, but I will run across them at some point. The 18 year I had as a pour at a bar and fell in love. It's really good. Not sure when I'll open my bottle. Feels special occasion.
The barrel proof is their first release of the year. They release 3 a year. An A batch, B, and C. I'll probably Crack this A batch tonight and try it. Last year the C was my favorite. If you ever see the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof you should feel comfortable paying up to 85. Retail is about 65 to 70
French eh? That's a pinky in the air!
Sounds like you're on the list now!!And I found out the concierge guy at Total Wine recognizes my name at this point and gave me his card.
Tullamore Dew has a very nice one (with an turquoise label) - that is finished in rum casks after it is aged - I like that one very much.Dipping my toe into Irish Whiskey next with a purchase of a bottle of Tullamore DEW and also picked up a single of an Oatmeal Stout to try from Stockyard brewers.
I started baseline with the green label original. I like sherry finishes so I’m hopeful for a decent sipper!Tullamore Dew has a very nice one (with an turquoise label) - that is finished in rum casks after it is aged - I like that one very much.
I’m an Irish whiskey fan - I think you’ll like the original as well - good stuff!I started baseline with the green label original. I like sherry finishes so I’m hopeful for a decent sipper!
