This one is definitely not for everyone, but I love it. It is a dark, heavy rose fragrance with a subtle earthiness. It is fantastic perfumery, but you have to be a fan of rose to enjoy it.

Did some antiquing after my workout and went with another marked fragrsnce which i have no idea what it is other than it smells delicous! Wish i knew what frag this was. I use it sparingly

Etat Libre d'Orange - Afternoon of a Faun
Speaking of rose, this homage to a classic soapy aldehydic chypre is fantastic. Of course I'm also a sucker for anything with a ballet theme, in this case the inspiration was a 1912 ballet performance, that was a little too racy for the time. Now in the 21st century there's nothing race going on here, the aldehydes aren't too dirty, and even the immortelle is far enough in the background to just give it a slight darker tinge. Overall I'm just getting a bright Marseille style soap vibe which I'm very much enjoying tonight.

Parfum d'Empire - Wazamba
Another top green, it feels very much like pine needled green but there's no notes that suggest that. In fact I guess the inspiration is an African incense, but I'm happy imagining the High Sierras wearing this.
