I have most of the Strops that Duke city offers, that Italian horse is my favorite. I love his buffalo for my travel, its a tank, you not going to damage that thing packing it a duffel bag. His cloth leaves a little to be desired, I usually swap it out with 3" fire hose or canvas from Razor Emporium .

Thanks for the input. I was looking at the Buffalo and would love to try that too, but I really wanted the horse. It has been several years since I've gotten a new strop, looking forward to it.

They looked to me like they were super flat, like a wieght training shoe. After looking at the web description I guess I wasn't too far off but I assume the "barefoot" feature would work for a number of activites.

Yes, these are weight training/cross training shoes. I'm hoping they are versatile enough for cross training. We shall see.
