My CBL soaps have been sitting at home, and I won’t get there for another 4 hours!

I’m pretty sure you’re feeling a bit feverish. Better get home. You still have 2 days left before the weekend, you need to keep your strength up!
 
My CBL Soap arrived too. I had just enough time To open it up, give a quick sniff, then I had to hit the road.

One of our bingo workers got the Flu (I know, right???), so they called me to come in early to cover his station.

Good lord...I am way behind! Great mail calls! And I don't think Chris is going to have to advertise outside of TSC...if he just keeps introducing new scents...the Cadre will keep him in business!

Some new blades to try:



And... a Merkur Futur. I've wanted one of these since I started wet shaving.



It's an interesting contraption--unlike any razor I have. First shave last night on setting 2 was a success. No blood at all and it felt generally BBS directly after, although it doesn't feel as close as usual now. I'll probably do another on 2 tonight and maybe try dialing up by half going forward. I can see how it could get "bitey" on higher settings...

Very nice in gold!
 
That was my biggest complaint with the Futur I had. No grip on them. Mine was the matte finish and still got a little nerve wracking with a really slick soap. I can't imagine the nice shiny glossy ones.

Great shaver though.
