What’s new to you?

yes the earl grey is my own creation. That Stirling is a fantastic performer and smells fantastic...but it made my face burn. If you try that one and think you feel an odd tingle you might want to put that in the to be PIFD pile. The Myrkvior is a really odd scent but it truly is one of my favorites. The soap on the other hand is just a mediocre performer for me. I understand LA Soap is using a different formula now, the new stuff might be better. I really like the scent though, as strange as it is it is in one I had a hard time letting go of it.

I hope those soaps add some variety and quality to your burgeoning soap collection.

Some first impressions I wanted to share on the three soaps Chris sent me.

The LA soap is a nice soap with a distinct scent. It’s hard to put my finger on it, but I’m also new to soaps so that shouldn’t surprise me or anyone else. LOL!It was easy to lather and it seemed to give good protection, I will certainly use it again, thank you sir.

The Stirling soap, The Lounge, affected me as it affected you Chris. A tingling sensation above my mustache and the sides of my lips. I’m going to set it aside and try again in a couple of days in hopes that it will work for me. It has a lovely smell but if it irritates my skin, it will go in my pif pile for someone else to try.

Now on to the best of the three soaps Chris sent, his homemade Earl Grey. A wonderful scent. I had two days growth to shave this evening in anticipation of this soap & it was superb! Easy lather, smooth, and a wonderful cooling sensation on the face. If this has menthol added to it, this is my first experience with menthol in a soap & I want more! This feels great! Not a face freeze mind you, just a wonderful cooling effect. In the post shave feel, in my untrained analysis, my face feels moisturized and refreshed. Outstanding soap Chris!!! Thank you for sending it. I am honored & consider it a privilege to have received it.

Nice review of Chris' soap Kansas City David!

Ugh, I should have mentioned this tread in my 7 deadly sins videos of what I love to hate. Ya'll get my buying finger itchy.

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited about this one...

But what's inside?
