Small shipment... Upon some recommendations, I picked up a Post-war Bakelite Tech and a stick of La Toja.

This morning I woke up to crapy weather, and this gave me an unplanned day in the workshop.

When I see a Rubberset 400 on Ebay, I keep low-ball sniping at them, with the intention of putting different knots into them. I've hit two of them for under $30 each.
The knots on those things never seem to wear out so I now have three handles with knots that I decided not to trash. The next best thing was to make new ferrules - nice little project for a rainy day.

The knots were ordered from Oumo a few weeks ago.

From left to right (I've kept them all 24mm)
Manchurian Fan, Badger Boar Mix, Tux Synthetic and Unbleached Boar (Two original ferrules in between)
I can't get the different colored O-Rings locally so I decided to machine a groove and paint fill it.
BTW - The third handle still needs polishing.

Great looking brushes! One of these days I will have one of those Rubbersets.

Also got this today. But I’m not keeping it it’s for my Granddaughter.
A 1995 Girl Scouts knife. It’s in great shape. She rides horses thought it would go nicely in her Tack bag.
Around Horses you always need something to cut with Right ?
