Wow..... That is not new my friend. Good you got on the horn, so to speak with Blackland. I think Shane will make it right for you brother. I’d be more than just a bit disappointed myself after receiving a product in that condition after putting out some bucks. As some here have stated, customer service is one of their strong points and it should and will be made right. Keep us posted brother.....:((y)

Emailed as soon as it came in with pics but probably won't hear from him till later on Monday. Was hoping to shave with it today but don't want to use till I know what to do with it. What's frustrating is they had to see this when they packed it up...... 😕

Oh, absolutely. How that fell through and it was considered to be a new product is unacceptable, period. Shave wise, I know the excitement of getting to use it and then have something like this happen smothers the enthusiasm quite a bit. I think it will be rectified......

You never know who does the packing though. Maybe they were busy and enlisted the help of a 16 year old nephew or something. You just never really know...so I wouldn't worry about it too much...at least not yet.
 
Well if they tell you to toss the razor for whatever reason, you know what direction to throw...

I had great customer service from Blackland and you will too in all likelihood. I ordered a Blackbird with base. The order was delayed because Shane dropped my base and nicked it. He emailed me to let me know he had to get another base and that the order would be late in arriving as a result. He told me that because of the delay, I would get the base for free and immediately refunded the cost of the base on to my credit card. When I told him that was not necessary, he insisted stating that he had to "own" his mistakes. I ended up with the razor and base (the base for free) the next week. That was great customer service.

Thanks! We got a pretty good deal on it. 2017 Versa with only 45k miles on it, previous fleet car.
Lol I was able to lay on the guilt enough that she said she’d entertain the idea of a motorcycle in a year or so, after certification of course.

She’s also commented previously that I’m due for a new truck eventually as well. That’s way long term though. My Tacoma is 13 years old but only has 150k-ish miles on it; should be good for at least another 50k I’m hoping.

Short term biding of time for long term gains lol. ;)
