What’s new to you?

Should have posted this earlier...but earlier this week that scoundrel of a Cadre member...Dave of the Daniel Boone variety decided to send me a lightly used tub of my favorite scent and one of my favorite soaps! Vide Poche by Declaration Grooming in collaboration with Chatillon Lux! Thank you so much Dave!

My Brother gave me some shaving creams from AoS last month for my birthday. Personally I think the creams are okay...but I don't really use them much. So I decided to take it to the store and see if I could exchange it for something else. Let me say...there isn't much in that store I really want. Their fragrances are really nice smelling...but man they are proud of them. The had some Penhaligon's EdTs, but holy cow! I think they are they are more expensive than almost anywhere else! So I looked at their razors. I remember now why I don't go in that store. Anyway...about the only razor I wanted in there was the Merkur Progress...long handled version. At $90.00 AoS is a minimum of a saw buck more expensive than anywhere I have seen online...and at the most...about $30.00 more expensive than some places. But since I wasn't coming out of pocket...much...I decided to pick this up. I won't be using it this week as I am tied to using the Dollar Tree razor it seems. But hopefully next week I will get a chance.

I'm going to show my age here...but I LOVE HEE HAW!!! Seriously...I know it is childish, outdated, and the fashion was horrible...even for those days. But man I love me some Hee Haw. Sadly the only place you can find full episodes anymore are on YouTube and RFD TV only on Direct TV.

I grew up with Hee Haw on Saturday nights when I was a kid! How about the Carol Burnett show too? Now there's some serious gut busting laughs!

Awesome Chris! One of these days I will revisit a Slant...and the RR German 37 is a great price!
