Dave, what's the scoop on this watch...manufacturer, specs, etc.?
It's the Ultrablack from Venezianico. It's hard to get a sense of it from photos. The face is coated with Mousu black paint that adsorbs 99.4% of light. NH35 movement.Dave, what's the scoop on this watch...manufacturer, specs, etc.?
Thanks for sharing. It's unique, and the NH35 movement is a workhorse. I had not seen this maker before, so I checked the website. Now I understand why the logo is an Italian Cross. It's the Ultrablack from Venezianico. It's hard to get a sense of it from photos. I'm interpreting this as Bougie got a broken watch and wants us all to think its "Special".View attachment 153465This is an interesting watch I got for Christmas. It’s designed like the Swiss train clocks and this model has a movement that mimics the movement of the clocks. It takes 58 seconds for the seconds hand to rotate all the way around. Then, when it reaches the 12, it stops for 2 seconds and during the 2nd second of the pause the minute hand advances one minute. Then the seconds hand starts moving again. For the railway clocks, this pause happens when a calibrating signal is sent to all the clocks in the system to keep them synced.

Not as “special” as youI'm interpreting this as Bougie got a broken watch and wants us all to think its "Special".
