An early shave on Saturday morning as we headed out to overnight at a friend's place a few hours drive away (Simcoe, Norfolk county) and we didn't get back until mid-afternoon today. Hot and tired after the drive, so my shave today was delayed until after my evening shower about half an hour ago. It feels good to chop off that near-40 hour growth.

An early shave on Saturday morning as we headed out to overnight at a friend's place a few hours drive away (Simcoe, Norfolk county) and we didn't get back until mid-afternoon today. Hot and tired after the drive, so my shave today was delayed until after my evening shower about half an hour ago. It feels good to chop off that near-40 hour growth.

A pre-noon shave with not overly much whisker-whacking to do, thanks to an evening shave yesterday. Still, there were a few small blips but nothing that my normal post-shave alum block application couldn't take care of.
Weatherwise, it's another stick-icky day. Blah.

Another icky day outside, but we have AC, so it's not so bad. Still, I was pooped most of the day and didn't shave until just now at 5pm with prep being a simple face wash. It seems to have worked as the whiskers have gone elsewhere.

Up early to put out the garbage and recycling and, once the pick-ups occurred, I washed out the bins with some javex and detergent as that activity was well overdue. I also took advantage of the backyard sunny heat today to expedite the drying of said containers. Brilliant move as that didn't take very long at all!
A shave at around 2:30pm was the last of my Proraso Green tube and I even had to use a little of the White to get enough to shave with. Alas, the White's tube seems to have some tiny holes as there was dried soap a few places on the tube. I might end up having to rehome the cream into a tub.

A nice enough shave before 9am today to round off the month, with 21 DE shaves and 10 carts. Why shave so early compared to normal? We have friends coming over to a quick breakfast num-nums and I have to at least try to be presentable.

The weather has cooled down quite nicely to now be very comfortable! Wheee!!! This pleasant surprise was also accompanied by a nice and easy shave with my now-rehomed-to-a-container Proraso White cream as the tube was oozing product through its side.
All in all, a nice start to a Friday.

A nice and semi-cool morning on this fine Saturday allowed me to pick up half a bucket of plums that the squirrels knocked down overnight. We have away a good bit yesterday (the good plums, not the squirrel ones) to three of our neighbours and still having fun trying to keep up with how fast the are getting ripe.
Post-plum cleanup, a nice and easy shave with the Proraso white cream. This pairs VERY well with my Clubman milk.
