I'm pretty lethargic and lazy. All I do is:
- teach bridge to seniors (weekly)
- teach chess to young'uns (weekly)
- play correspondence chess (daily)
- play over-the-board chess (weekly)
- serve two exec volunteer position on our national correspondence chess association (workload comes in bursts)
- help about half-a-dozen families with financial planning and taxes (workload comes in bursts)
- studying an accelerated courseload to become certified as a Financial Planner (daily)
- drive my wife wherever and whenever needed (she doesn't drive)
- try to walk for an hour every day
- start my day at 6:30-7am, 7 days a week.
So yeah, I guess I am sloth-like.

Aug.14 Injector I2/Personna(11) ..... vintage boar#2 ............ Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk
A nice enough 9:30 shave this morning after visiting the chiropractor (twice a week for sciatica, as I've mentioned before) and having a coffee with wifey.
The day seems to be a slight reprieve from the heat with temps below 30C, not counting the humidex. I'll take it!! Bridge club this afternoon and I will talk to some folks about whether they want to learn the 2-Over-1 system next year.
Have a super Thursday!
A nice enough 9:30 shave this morning after visiting the chiropractor (twice a week for sciatica, as I've mentioned before) and having a coffee with wifey.

We’ve had a similar reprieve, though our humidity remains high at Infinity%. We’ve had a couple of showers over the last 2-3 nights, so that’s good.

Since I had an *ahem* "early" shave yesterday, I was up at at'em even earlier this morning with a 5:20am shave to kick off the day as we head out to visit my wife's sister to spend the day with her. I wasn't near as groggy getting up at 5 as I thought I would be. After all, it's a whole 1.5 hours before my normal "up" time. I did prep for it though by hitting the sack at 10pm.

A good day yesterday with my wife and her sister enjoying each other's company while I sat in the backyard shade with two dogs and listened to a few hours of podcasts until my iFoney power dropped to 7%. 'Twas only about 3.5 hours on the road total ... blah... but given it was a Friday, traffic wasn't overly horrible.
I nice enough 9:30am shave and now it's back to reviewing material for my exam on Monday. Whee!

Sunday morning means it's laundry day!! Last load in now in the washer, so it looks like I am slightly ahead of the game. Couple that with a nice and easy 10am shave and the day is a winner so far. As a bonus, it rained this morning and there's still some stuff coming down at a very light pace. Woot!

I spend some time this morning reviewing before my 11am exam and decided to put off shaving until afterwards. "Afterwards" came at 4:30pm as I was pooped post-exam.
The test itself was scheduled for 3 hours and took me around 2.5 to complete, with results being posted in a few days. A slew of questions were way more indepth and complicated than the individual unit tests that occurred throughout the course (at the end of every unit, if you'd believe it!!), but I think I managed to pull it off. We shall see.
As for the shave, it's hard to argue with how easily the slant chops off whiskers.
Now it's time to eat in a little but and then off for a walk with our buddies a little later in the evening.

Shavewise, another nice and simple few minutes with the slant. I'm really liking the old vintage boar I am using and the know is the total opposite of dense.

Up early to put out the recycling and enjoy a coffee or two while watching the light rain come down and catch up on podcasts before wifey got up. Just finished a nice and simple shave with the slant and now getting ready to head out to Costco to pick up a few small things.
It's shaping up to be a pretty good Wednesday.

We managed to sneak in an hour walk just past 7pm with our buddies and the mosquitoes near the end were enough to help keep us moving at a good clip.
Up and out early for some chiro, followed by a 9am shave and coffee at home. Then it was off to some other friends to help them out with some stuff before gobbling down a bowl of yummy homemade veggie soup for lunch, and now it's almost time to head out to bridge.
*whew* I'm pooped!
