I was up and moving very early this morning. I went to visit my Mom and take her for lunch and get groceries for her. At least I was able to get in a great shave before leaving. Everything played well together delivering an automatic near BBS shave. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend.

Monday Morning again. Weekends are entirely too short. I feel like I need Monday just to rest from the weekend.
I will be using The Dead Sea soap and aftershave twice a week at least in an effort to get it gone. I find the scent simply intoxicating but the performance just ok. I brought out the Wolfman SS OC to play. I got this razor when James first started before all the current rage and long waiting lists. Three passes and touch ups ended in an automatic drama free BBS shave. Which works great for a rainy messy day in Hot ATL.

The "Big Scrubby" boar is a new addition and since I have absolutely no patience, I had to use it this morning. This boar is a beast with a 28mm x 50mm knot. I can safely say the brush lived up to its name face lathering today. However, I think I will really like the brush once it is fully broken in. Overall a fantastic workday shave to start the day. I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.

Happy Hump Day Everyone. Since it is another rainy messy day here in Atlanta, I have decided I will work remotely today. I am trying to break in this beast of a boar brush. I did let it soak most of the day yesterday which did seem to help. This should be a fantastic boar brush for face lathering when it is fully broken in. Another automatic near perfect shave this morning. I really can't ask for much better. I need to decide which OC razor will be up next. Take care and I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Once it's saturated with water, continued soaking isn't going to do much. What you want to do is get it through some wet/dry cycles. Soak it for 5 minutes, then let it dry completely. Do this over and over, and the tips will start splitting.

Luckily Zenith brushes break in pretty quickly. The tips have started splitting already.

This week is going by pretty quickly. Up with the Tatara Masamune OC this morning. The Tatara is on the mild side with a narrow sweet spot. If I do my part the razor delivers a wonderful shave. Three passes and touch ups ended in an automatic BBS. I really can't ask for more. I hope everyone has a great Thursday

Thank you. The Tatara is an artisan maker from Portugal. I enjoy the craftsmanship of their products. The razor is mild but it works is I do my part.

Happy Friday!!! Another work week will soon be in the books. I had to break out the Fat for a Friday Shave. I love using Mitchell's and it is certainly on my "Buy Again" list. Back with the Tatara Masamune OC for today's shave. The razor delivered with a wonderful BBS shave to start the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.
