Any idea what year this could be? I know Wild Country debuted in 1967. I'm wondering if this might have been one from the early years of initial launch. This was a NOS bottle, and I actually believe it, because the scent has not "turned" at all. In fact, the scent is amazing, and the longevity is quite impressive - totally diggin' it!

Also, KJ, what is the name of the Avon book/guide that you have? I recall you mentioning it some time ago. Thanks.

That's the one! Thought it was older than that as I remember sticking the head on my middle finger and walking my "hand dinosaur" around the tub. Hmmm, maybe the delay in my mental growth and maturity started MANY years ago!

I have read that Avon Coastline was simply stunning, but have never seen nor smelled it and cheap it ain't on Ebay.

Found this today at the local Good Will. Payed $2 for it. Label is missing, so not sure of scent.

It’s either Spicy Aftershave or Sure Winner Bracing Lotion. If it smells like Old Spice then it’s the Spicy Aftershave. The bottle is called Super Shaver, and was made in 1973.

Yep, I did not find much either.

I'm planning on heading back to the same place as I got this one as I know there are more there, I just did not have time to look at them all yesterday as I was on a schedule. Not sure of the scents, but I know I saw a Marlin (no head), Trout(again, no head) and a Spartan/Roman Soldier (?) Head.

It is nice. Reminds me of Aqua Velva and a tiny bit like Epsilon Mediterranean Blue. Perhaps @Spider can see if scent notes are listed in his book. The box says it is tangy, fresh, clean, crisp and masculine.

No. My book does not discuss scents. It's a nice aquatic, that I would place somewhere between Aqua Velva Ice Blue and AV Ice Sport.
