Continuing with the British soap theme. My sister purchased this soap for me while on her travels in London. She messaged me after laving the legendary shoppe on Jermyn Street that she couldn't believe how much she paid for "a piece of soap" I'm glad she did. I love all aspects of this soap!

This was my first soap purchased from Adopted Acres. Despite it being a "christmas" soap, it doesn't really evoke the yule tide for me. However; it makes for a banger of a Summer scent. Sweet florals, and aquatic aromas. I was expecting a unique take on christmas scents, but got a wicked good summer fragrance instead. Happy accidents are wonderful. Love this stuff, unfortunately I only picked up two tubs and two splashes. Should've put a repurchase in before they were gone. Oh well, there's plenty more goodness to be had with AA soaps. (Waiting on a package, so you'll have to wait to see my next shave with Adopted Acres)

The Virgilio Valobra Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #438 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Fatip Grande razor and the PolSilver Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

With 3 days growth, the blade was a little tuggy today. I probably should have used a sharper blade. Also, for some reason this soap didn't seem to be slick enough. Strange because Stirling soaps are usually very slick. Meanwhile I got a BBS shave.

Terrific shave Lantsman!

Maybe you should’ve added a bit more water when you were lathering up? That probably would’ve brought out the slickness from the soap - it’s true that Stirling is extremely slick!

Menthol Monday’s South African Grand Freeze:

Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash
Hugo Boss EdT sample

This Kameelperd soap (kameelperd is Afrikaans for giraffe) has a lulu of a menthol sensation - it’s easily a match for the Glacial soaps, although it’s glycerine based it’s so easy to lather, it’s super slick, and the postshave care is excellent. I also love its coffee/peppermint scent. The Stoffel balm smells straight up peppermint, and it’s frigidly cold as well as very soothing. The Northern Elixir aftershave has a nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent, and it’s another menthol monster. Finally the Hugo Boss fragrance sample which I can take or leave (I’d just as soon leave it) and that’s it for today. The new Perma Sharp blade helped ensure a perfect three pass BBS shave that was lots of fun!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Phenomenal shave with which to kick off the workweek! Returned to my vintage Shulton "Old Spice" suite of products. Fantastic Old School scent with an incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching ASL & EdC.

BBS bliss!!
