Thursday morning:

Long hot shower
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 11
Biolijf Spice SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Pinaud Bay Rum AS Splash

Thank God a million times that I feel better - at least well enough that I was able to enjoy the lovely scent of this Biolijf Spice soap from the Netherlands. I believe it’s a vegan based product with terrific lather, it’s surprisingly very slick, and it’s chock full of skincare. The Lubriderm moisturizer is so soothing, and do I ever LOVE the Pinaud Bay Rum aftershave - it’s one of my favourites. Another wonderful three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Wishing you all a great day - be well and stay safe!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another incredible shave this morning! Returned to my Valobra era TAOS unscented shave soap. Phenomenally thick & slick lather built with the Simpson ST badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Aqua Velva "Musk" aftershave lotion. Popped a fresh Wizamet in the Karve this morning and it was so smooth that I had to check and make sure the blade was actually in there!

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Lovely shave, Akhi. I've eyed that Kent soap on Amazon. Does it smell like Mitchell's Wool Fat?
Thank you Akhi. To my nose, they are very similar. Both have a fresh scent that is quite light. The Kent puck I have is the latest release with the blue label. I know a lot of people in the shaving community are attached to MWF but for me, I think this is a fantastic soap and I’m totally fine with the updated formula.

We lost our power Monday night just before 11pm. We were without power until Wednesday evening at about 6:20pm. Of course not only did a storm come though and cause major issues throughout our region, it brought cold temperatures back too. This unplanned off-grid living stinks. I couldn't wait to get in the shower this morning.

I had 3 days of growth... and it was getting very itchy on my neck. The Rockwell 6s on plate R4 with a Kai(5) blade did well at stubble removal. I'd rate today's shave as a DFS+.

**Overall:** ★★★★★ (Epic Shave!)
**Smoothness:** ★★★★★ (BBS Perfection)
**Irritation:** ★☆☆☆☆ (Zero Burn)

I will have to purchase a puck. I currently have 1 MWF in use and 1 in the wings. I believe they are both the vegan formula. I bought them from Pasteurpharmacy.com when it was announced that Mitchell's was going out of business. I absolutely love the scent of MWF and I think it performs very well.
