Under Ten Dollar Shave
There are days when you just can't explain how a shave with gear under 10 bucks can deliver the goods. This is one of those days. A two pass with minor touch ups BBS.

Blade: Wilkinson Sword , 1st use
Brush: Wald Glacial Meltwater A1 Bulb
Bowl: Captain’s Choice Copper “Obsidian” Bowl
Preshave: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Tube 2.0 Soap
Soap: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Old Salty Croap
Aftershave: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Old Salty Aftershave
Additional Care: Osma Alum
Additional Care: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Galactic Witch Hazel
New razor today. The PAA (Proto-) Quantum. Used the Ω plate. Very narrow cutting angle (really only cuts when held at about 30 degrees). Nice weight and very smooth. Super grippy handle.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Best shave of the week this morning! Returned to Stirling Soap Co. and their excellent "Piacenza" shaving soap. Great AdP "Colonia" scent and superb lather built with the Paladin "Falstaff" 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "META-4" and I finished with Acqua di Parma "Colonia" aftershave splash & EdC.

Back home. A couple razors honed today, fresh off a coticule, so it was edge check time.
Razor SK Collings, Ralf Aust, both 7/8
Lather was a Creed Aventus Dupe made by a friend of mine. I figured pairing it with Fine Platinum was appropriate. I don’t care for non-tallow soaps and especially one I have never used, a little preshave was added for tonight. The Brush is my homemade stag with 26mm boar knot. It’s not much to look at, but brush sees a lot of action, it’s my favorite knot I own.
