I like the Abalone finish on your brush handle. Twice I have attempted to have Artisan brush handle makers make me an Abalone finish handle and both times neither of the handles came anything close to your brush finish or the Abalone jewelry we have.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another outstanding shave in the books today! Returned to Saponificio Varesino and their excellent "Dolomiti" shaving soap and lotion. I believe if safe to say that this on my favorite SV soap. It always leaves my face feeling so good afterward. Great scent. The sage gives it a bit of a medicinal quality and is very refreshing. Superb lather from the Beta 4.3 base, built with the Paladin "El Dorado" 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Super Speed and I finished with the matching aftershave lotion.
