Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Man, today's shave was right on par with yesterday's! Hard to say which one was better. Returned to Shulton-era "Old Spice" shaving soap and aftershave lotion. Great scent and superb lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 1 Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Super Speed and I finished with Old Spice "Fresh Lime" aftershave lotion & vintage Avon "Brisk Spice" EdC.

Used the α plate today. As advertised, it was more blade forward than the Ω plate yesterday. Found it remained very smooth, especially when favoring riding the cap.

Three truly outstanding shaves in a row! Wow! They just keep getting better and better. Returned to Ariana & Evans and their "Aqua de Boracay" shaving soap. Great tropical, aquatic scent and superb lather from the Kaizen 2e base, built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Dark Knight Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Fatboy and I finished with Czech & Speake "Cuba" aftershave lotion & EdC.

The last two razors honed and shave tested from a lot a picked up last week. The TI was fantastic, convex coti, to convex slate to flat Trans Ark. The Boker Carbon was honed on a synthetic progression to 30k, admittedly I am not a fan of shaving off synthetics but this Boker was superb. Nice relaxing Saturday night shave.
