Got to 100 shaves on this little puck (56g) of soap! Loading is taking way too long, but once it’s loaded I’ve been getting quality lathers.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Phenomenal shave today! First use of the ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Rosa" soap and splash and I was completely blown away. Beautiful rose scent that isn't sweet or "perfumy" but almost dark in aspect. Reminds me of the "Bulgarian Rose" soap that one of the straight razor shops commissioned years ago. Super slick, thick and cushioning lather with excellent slip. Two passes (+ touch-up) with the 60's "Psycho Tech" and I finished with the matching skin food splash.

I had a Trumper Rose soap. I totally know what you're talking about it taking too long to lather. I liked it except for the difficult lathering. I was glad when I finally finished the puck. Their cream is much better imo.

Yes I have and use several of their creams. I actually got this to see if I could even lather any version of their hard soap pucks after less than stellar outings with their Eucris and Sandalwood hard soap pucks.

Super rich, creamy, slick lather & together with the matching splash the scent is light and pleasant.
1st shave with my 1st Swedish razor. Freshly honed & finished on the HBA + roo leather, the edge is soft smooth, and crisp. Beautiful looking bevel. My 3rd successful hone. Enjoyed 3 passes for a bbs-dfs finish...
