I don’t know what to say about this shave. Before The Shaving Den closed its doors I thought I’d try two of their soaps. This one is scented like Floid Blue and smells really good. However, like the 2X Iced Lavender I tried the other day it seems to lather very thin. I gave up halfway through and lathered with the MSC Black Tie. Sadly, I think the soaps will get tossed. But, I do have a bottle of their menthol to add to other soaps. Fingers crossed as I love a good freeze

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

The shaves just keep getting better and better! Any shave this week could be "Best of the Week". Today I returned to CBL Premium Soaps' "Drinks & Daves" shave soap and tonic. A fantastic scent with notes of Leather, Cedar, Fresh Cigars, Charred Cedar, Cigar Smoke & Scotch Whisky. An incredible scent with exceptional lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave tonic and Floris "Islay" EdP.

Another effortless BBS shave!

Back to BBS – Very smooth & comfortable three pass
Crown & Sword branded ERN is a very nice razor
Although the name Ausschuss translated can be "reject, scrap, waste"
I’m still evaluating razors for the February One Blade Challenge
Overall a wonderful BBS Shave result

Bio-sheep's milk and lanolin. Its a very pleasant soap, it reminds me of Mitchell's, but obtainable.
