Sorry, this is a late post for this morning's shave. Did 2 passes on face and 2 passes on the dome for an error-free comfortable and smooth shave. The soap is easy to lather and quite slick. It's a shame this company went out of business. Anyway, did my usual post shave routine of alum, Witch hazel and the matching aftershave applications. Take care.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Leaf Thorn Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Simply incredible shave this morning! Returned to TOBS and their excellent "Oud" shave cream and splash. A beautiful scent and notes of oud, rose and saffron with a great lather built with the Saponificio Varesino badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave splash and Creed "Royal Oud" EdP.

Another effortless BBS shave!

Years ago Arko was my favourite soap but then I suddenly quit with it. After not using it for about a year I decided to pull it out this morning and I’m so happy that I did. I LOVE its clean, soapy scent, it buried my face in thick, rich, slick lather, and it felt so comfortable afterwards. The Lubriderm moisturizer gave me lots of extra soothing, and I love the scent of the Canada Ceder aftershave - what a pity that it was discontinued - there were so many great products from Germany. Three passes did the job for me - another brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Light Beard this morning so I tried a modified ONE Pass
Worked out just fine – definitely a comfortable DFS/DFS+ result
My smallest pure badger brush did exceptionally well with the cream
It was like you were brushing a butterfly wing across your cheek

I don’t know what to say about this shave. Before The Shaving Den closed its doors I thought I’d try two of their soaps. This one is scented like Floid Blue and smells really good. However, like the 2X Iced Lavender I tried the other day it seems to lather very thin. I gave up halfway through and lathered with the MSC Black Tie. Sadly, I think the soaps will get tossed. But, I do have a bottle of their menthol to add to other soaps. Fingers crossed as I love a good freeze :love:
