Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Chilly today. Temps are in the 40's and there's fog and mist. It's the kind of damp cold that I can never seem to shake. Seems to get down into my bones and I feel cold no matter what I do. So, I went with a "warm" shave today, reaching for Stirling's "Barbershop". Love this soap and it always gives a warm, comfortable feeling. Great lather for two passes (+ touch-up) with the new (to me) Techmatic and I finished with the matching splash and Penhaligon's "Sartorial" EdT.

Don’t have any Williams, so doing a parallel version of this challenge. Going to 3017 a puck of Geo. F. Trumpers “Officers and Gentlemens” mug soap (a 56g puck) in the dreaded Sodium Palmoate first ingredient version (AKA the airy, disappearing, vanishing lather base), which I’ll keep in a Captain’s Choice ceramic lather bowl.

Also started the One Blade challenge with a gently used Wilkinson Sword.

First shave wasn’t too bad. Just kept loading and adding water until I got a useable lather. Hope to learn something about lather making using this soap for the month.
