Wed 7 Soap & Aftershave Barrister & Mann Seville Brush SOC Cherry Wood Boar Razor P Hospital Le Grelot Thiers
Super nice creamy and slick lather from the soap, whip up nicely by the excellent boar brush—lovely scented soap and matching splash. Today's shave was just fantastic! After putting it through the La Lune with oil, this razor's edge was the best I have ever felt. Very gentle and comfortable but yet crisply keen. 3passes for a bbs-ccs finish...
Today's setting was 2.5. There's no middle mark. I eyeballed it. I tried 3 and 2 but it seems by today's shave that 2.5 is the sweet spot for this blade.
Have a great shave
Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave this morning! First use of the new one from Barrister and Mann. "Smoking Bishop" is, according to the website, a Victorian mulled wine so named because it's served heated to steaming, but not boiling, and drunk from warmed bowls or glasses. The scent is a mesmerizing blend of boozy, citrus and spicy scents that really make me want to try to make some of this for Christmas! The lather was phenomenal! Very slick but also thick and cushioning. Two passes + touch-up and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of CK One Shock.
Hope you have a great day.
