Hello Cadre! Hope you're having a great weekend.

Taking a break from the Christmas scents for a nice aromatic fougere shave with the PAA "Fresco". Nice spicy, green scent and fantastic lather for two passes + touch-up and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Chanel "Platinum Égoïste" EdT.

Perfect soap for today's shave. Creamy, slick, and refreshing...
I've always wanted a frameback and got this vintage via Ebay. Honed it myself using cheap stones and finished on the Naniwa 12k then the Kanayama strop. Wow...was surprised by the nice smooth & comfortable edge. Was expecting the worse. A satisfactory 3 passes for a mixed dfs-ccs-sas finish without any issues. Very happy indeed!

First use of Noble Otter's new seasonal offering, "Tis The Season". Great lather and wonderful scent. Very fruit-forward but a big dose of evergreen in there as well. Two passes + touch-up and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Burberry "London For Men".

This soap scent is really strong...together with the matching balm...wow! The lather was acceptable...
This razor was refreshed on the La Lune with water & oil and yeah, can feel some improvement...smooth & comfortable enough but need to be keener. Will try again. As it is, the shave was enjoyable in 3passes for a dfs-ccs-sas finish...

Took the photo before I made the game time decision to swap out the Proraso balm for the alum.

A side by side shave. The only physical difference in the make of the razors I can tell is the Model T-2 bar the blade gets seated over is higher. You can see it with the silo doors closed and with the original you can't.
It's been about 45 minutes. I can't tell any difference, and during the shave I couldn't tell any significant difference from side to side. They're good solid razors imo. They are chrome over brass and have a good feel in the hand and on the face. I like them but I think I like the 6S set a better .
Setting 3 was efficient but a little too much blade feel. I'm going to setting 2. Today is my only side by side with these two razors. Three passes with no nicks or weepers. Alum Block brought no stings.
Full disclosure: I funded Rockwell's Kickstarter campaigns for all three of these razors, so I got them for about half price.

Fantastic shave this morning. Went with Barrister and Mann's "Vespers". Great lather from the Omnibus base and the scent evokes images of bright lights and warm, festive drinks against a starry, snowy backdrop. Two passes + touch-up and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of John Varvatos for Men EdT.
