Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Stick Injector Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Edge Test – Finally got the Botan edge I was looking for
Smooth with a bit of keen – third time is the charm I guess
Little Rubberset brush is a good painter – doesn’t hold a lot of lather
Had to go back to the sample puck between passes
Overall a marvelous BBS shave result today

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Best shave of the week contender this morning! Returned to Floris and their excellent "No.89" suite of products. Fantastic Old School English scent with incredible lather built with the Envy Shave badger brush for three passes with the PAA "META-4" and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching splash & EdT.

Benetfink closed their Cheapside plant in 1907 so this razor is pre-1907
No Name Boar brush has tons of backbone and scritch
Vintage Platinum Plus blade in a 53 Super Speed was BANGER clean up

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Today's shave narrowly edged out yesterday's for Best Shave of the Week! Returned to Adopted Acres Soap Co. and their excellent "Pineapple Under the Sea" shave soap and splash. Fantastic scent! Though not plainly stated on the maker's site, this seems to be their riff on Creed Aventus. It's a fantastic pineapple-forward scent with simply incredible lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash & Mont Blanc "Explorer" EdT.

I owe myself many more shaves with the Speick stick because it’s AWESOME. Do I ever love its lavender/spicy scent, the lather is such a pleasure to work up, there’s so much slickness, and it leaves a most pleasant, soothing postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer is also a godsend for sensitive skin, and finally the lovely Canada Ceder aftershave also from Germany left me smelling great - what a pity that this stuff is no longer available - my bottle is almost finished. Another super duper fun filled BBS shave - what more can I say!
