Williams Wednesday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Schick Stick Injector Razor
Personna Injector Blade
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Derby Chop Shop After Shave Tonic

The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #425 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Stick Injector Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Derby Chop Shop After Shave Tonic. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you Lantzman. Deciding to 3017 Tabac for the month of April is working out nicely. I'm using the second iteration of their veggie soap (2024) and I'm a fan. In fact I prefer this over the Tallow version.
I know what you mean and being a fan of the veggie soap. I never got to try rhe Mitchell's Wool Fat with tallow. However, I think the non-tallow puck in phenomenal even though so many people say it is not as good.

2am insomnia shave to soothe and refresh. SV Morado soep and Aftershave and shower soap for that matter. The razor is a Yates Custom OC. .95 gap, if i recall correctly, which i nay not - specs and such have kind of faded from importance. Everything ive got works. The Simpsons Persian Jar PJ3 is yet another fantastic brush. Ive not had a single dud in my Simpsons collection. The blade was a Gillette Silver Blue.6364.jpg

Gotta love the Derby City Winter Reserve!!

Thursday morning:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 5
Speick Shaving Stick (one of Germany’s finest)
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Sir Canada Ceder AS Splash

I owe myself many more shaves with the Speick stick because it’s AWESOME. Do I ever love its lavender/spicy scent, the lather is such a pleasure to work up, there’s so much slickness, and it leaves a most pleasant, soothing postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer is also a godsend for sensitive skin, and finally the lovely Canada Ceder aftershave also from Germany left me smelling great - what a pity that this stuff is no longer available - my bottle is almost finished. Another super duper fun filled BBS shave - what more can I say!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe!

A friend of mine on the shaving forums has a puck or two of the MWF non-tallow. He’s contemplating selling them and I asked to please keep me in mind.
Another soap (in addition to Tabac Veggie) that doesn’t get good reviews on the forums is the latest Kent SB2. Personally I think is it’s fantastic and in my opinion it’s as good or better that MWF. I guess it always comes down to YMMV.
