Nice enough soap with a pleasant aquamarine scent and a satisfactory lather whip up by the awesomely soft brush!
Another excellent shave with the razor paired with this blade. 3passes at max setting 9 for a bbs finish. It's amazing to realize how after some reasonable acquisitions in almost 4 years...to find the best shaves are by these old simple cheap razors. The aftershaves were terrific as well.

Good morning Cadre! Hope you're having a great weekend.

Phoenix Shaving's "Speakeasy" for today's shave. Admittedly I was not a fan of this soap's scent when I first got it. It smelled like it was trying to be a barbershop scent and some scents smell more "barbershoppy" than others to my nose. So I put it away. I revisited it today after a while and I realized that the scent had grown on me. In fact, to my nose it's very similar to Eight & Bob Original. Great lather for a three pass DFS+ result and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Eight & Bob.

So..I've pretty much retired from the daily rotation of razors in favor of the Shake Sharp Mk1. Have been doing a brushless shave since February and am quite happy with the revised routine.
