Missed my antique heavyweight razor! What a nice easy smooth and gentle razor...very comfortable edge after stopping on buffalo leather. Workday rush 2.5passes for an acceptable ccs/dfs finish without any issues. The matching aftershaves were perfect for a lasting aromatic scent...

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning! Used the new "Italia Collection - Blood Orange" cream from @Dragonsbeard / ETHOS Grooming Essentials. Excellent scent and performance. Three passes for a DFS+ result with the Blackland Era and I finished with a splash of Aqua Velva "Musk" and a spray of vintage Pierre Cardin.

So I’ve had another version of this razor the Emperor Augustus - the only difference is this one is slightly lighter because it has a shorter handle. For the $, I think it is a solid adjustable - all brass. TBH - I just like the look of it. Slightly gimmicky in that it has a smooth bar on one side and a grooved safety bar on the other side. I have seen other shavers on YT state they can tell the difference - but I really can’t. Other than that - it is a good shaver - easy to find the correct angle and bonus for me - heavy as a brick.

It's just a wonderful lather from the soap. Rich, creamy, and slick...with some cooling sensation...the scent a bit mild.
Workday rush 2.5passes with this nice smooth and crisp razor refreshed on pasted balsa and buffalo leather. Managed a ccs result with 2 micro red spots. Good aftershaves.
