One-Blade-Challenge: Day 2
Williams 3017: Day1
Well this is the grove for a while. I will switch out the aftershaves here and again. Had to pair up the proper one with the "Willy" mix today. Otherwise, slick soap, sharp blade, easy shave. BBS.
Razor: Timeless Bronze SB
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2)
Brush: Semogue 830 Boar
Soap: Williams Mug "Wild Willy" (mixed in Avon Wild Country)
Splash: Avon Wild Country (Corvette decanter)
Balm: EMJ Signature Mint

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Brrrrrrr!! Wind chills hovering around the 18° mark hereabouts this morning. I feel like Mr. Rogers in that I wear one coat to work and when I get to the office I take it off and put on another (lighter) fleece jacket. There;'s an external metal security door in my office and it's like working inside a cooler.
Great shave today! First time using the Fine shaving cream. Nice lather and it smelled great but I prefer the soaps personally. Finished with the matching splash (with added skin food) and EdT. Fantastic!

First shave of One Blade Feb down range. Lovely and smooth as can be! Though this is the second use of this blade for me. The General is quite a good razor and this should be a pretty good month.

Its stocked in our local supermarkets here in Australia. Not generally a scent I go after but saw it on sale and impressed with the longevity.

Post: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 30 ml // Imperial Leather A/S Lotion
WTG, ATG, Touchups = DFS
Considering the success I had with yesterday's shave I decided I'd keep things simple and only swap out the brush, razor & blade. Now as nice as the Merkur is it isn't a Rocca as evident by the lack of efficiency and patchy regrowth by lunch time.
This knot is super soft and has the consistency of a wet boar when lathering and to my surprise the Imperial Leather scent lasted most of the day which was quite nice. Looking forward to the next shave...

Soap: Vintage Williams puck grated and infused with Floid Black AS
AS: Floid Black
Shave #2 headed to 28 on the Wizamet. Vintage Williams soap produced a great lather and the added Floid made it smell marvelous.

Today's lather is super-duper good! Excellent scent...love it! Together with the nice soft brush...created an awesomely thick, creamy, and slick lather!
Shave with razor at setting 3 paired with the blade was good. Smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a bbs and dfs result. Razor weight is really hefty. Rating 9.5/10
