SORRENTINO BRUSHWORKS

Many thanks, my friend. I still have Kirinite you gave me, and have a couple sets of scales in the works.
Nice, I had forgotten about that. Be sure to post pictures when you get them done. I forgot what color I even sent you.

You sent a few. I have scales shaped for an old LeCoultre. The original horn scales were warped beyond my ability to straighten, but provided a good enough outline to make identical new scales from.

Of course now that I’ve rediscovered the joy of the lathe it might be a while before they get finished lol.

They have arrived, love them.

Thanks Frank! I truly enjoy working on the lathe, and hope I can get my wood shop back up and running before too long. I spent some time in my BILs wood shop recently, and made some blanks out of his scrap wood that I’m looking forward to turning into brush handles.

Hi Eric. I'm new to the forum and have a "outta left field" question for you. Any chance you might've made this brush from one of the blanks you made back in 2020? I bought it second hand online a while back, don't have a clue who made it... and it's a favorite!

If it isn’t Eric, it might be a Graydog brush.

Hey Mike, that is one of mine. I’m glad you’re happy with it. If you’re interested, it’s made of padauk, maple, and black walnut.
