Soap/cream of the day

Dr. John (Malcolm John Rebennack) just passed away on June 6th--his influence went well past the 70's to the present and he was not merely a rock musician--blues, pop, jazz, boogie-woogie, and rock and roll all with a New Orleans flavor. As a boy he was exposed to King Oliver and Louis Armstrong. About a month ago, after he passed, I had an extended conversation with a woman who hung out in New Orleans back in the day and who had a chance to see him with Professor Longhair who influenced him musically and stylistically. He was very influential and was highly sought out as a session player, backing such bands as the Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher and Carly Simon to name just a few. He won 6 Grammies and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He actually was a very big deal though a bit under the radar.

I hadn't heard he passed away recently, we've lost another great one.

My joke, was in the right place, been the wrong time.

What the heck is that.... Never heard of it.
Sounds like a character from minecraft or some other video game.
The Holy Black has some pretty good soaps. They are probably best known for there small batch themed shaves that are presented in some really awesome ways. You pay a premium price though for the presentation and they sell out really quick.

This is likely my only purchase from them as there is so much more out there that is so much better and I don't have to drop some serious cheddar. I don't regret buying it...but I would rather have the funds to put towards a Vector or a Paladin.

It was a big deal around these parts. He was a phenomenal musician and artist. And yeah...completely under the radar...but was so huge at the same time. Louisiana lost a favorite son!

I could not have put it better. I kept it sealed for the longest time thinking I was going to trade or sell it. When I bought it, @Dave in KY rightly questioned my decision, reminding me that I could have saved that money for use toward a razor like the one he considered his holy grail, the Timeless. 95 simoleons. Now, three quarters of the year later, Dave has sold his "holy grail" Timeless and has anointed two other razors (that I can tell) to this high status, his Charcoal Goods then his Vector. And I have used my Tangerine Creeper once. Go figure.
