The Deets-
TLDR; Life is good!

Today was a DE shave and I’ll confess … it was because I’m kinda beat up and lazy. However, this late morning shave was very nice. As usual, The Fat delivered a very slick three pass shave. The Slim and Astra did their job bringing home the BBS results. And the PDP 63 ASB wrapped everything up for the win!

Funny thing. Early in my traditional shaving experience, I had PDP 63 soap and ASB. Loved the hard puck soap (I really lean that direction now) for the performance and scent. But hated the ASB and gravitated more towards splashes. So I got rid of it. Looking back, it was just my inexperience using the balm. If you don’t like something set it aside and try it again another time … sage advice.

Home Front-
So yesterday I was in a Bass fishing tourney in East Texas. Coffee maker broke, so no thermos for the trip. I was running on minimal sleep and let’s just say Texas weather can be unpredictable. As forecasted- I was ready for sporadic rain, highs in the mid-60’s and overcast with heavy cloud cover all day. Rain didn’t come, clouds broke and we hit highs in the mid-70’s. And, I didn’t even have my Zombie Land hat with me … I got roasted. We lost a 6 pounder at the boat and that cost us 1st place. But we did place in the money at 5th place.

On the coffee maker … it’s broke broke. I got to try my hand at pour over today. I picked up a Bodum setup from Stirling Soaps awhile back, but hadn’t used it before. A hand grinder, that was a gift from an exchange student and a Bonavita kettle I scored from the Bay. Watched a pour over video or two after my shave and managed to make a few cups of coffee today. I dig it. I think that’s all I have to regurgitate, aren’t you glad I gave you a TLDR? Life is good!

The Deets-
That’s right friends and neighbors, I am posting two days in a row. Please contain yourselves. Last week and this week were/are weekly rotations, so it’s all Windsor all week long this go around. At least for the work week. Anyway, another outstanding shave leaving me headed into work BBS for the win! Man, I dig this scent.

Home Front-
A bit of news on the home front. I had to repair some drainage pipe in the back yard which took a few days after work. Digging and repairs are done, so tomorrow I start filling the trench back in. Shouldn’t take too long. And on the fishing tourneys, it’s a odd month so there is a second one coming this weekend. Local lake and it’s an open, so any boats can enter. More competition, but money pots go up, so hopefully we place. That’s all I got today, just waiting for Saturday. Life is good!

Well, if you didn't catch any, you're not a fishy-catcher, so being clean-shaven or not is moot. 😎
Hey I caught one Catfish...... not legal size, but I caught one, LOL. As the famous Comedian Steven Wright stated
" There is a very thin line between "Fishing", or standing on the shoreline looking like an Idiot".... You decide....
