The Process-
Early morning shave today. Stirling One hasn’t been on deck in a while, so it got the nod. Kept the same razor and Fluffy’s edge is still going strong. Decided to show the Semogue a bit of love today too. A 20 second load time whipped up some great smelling goodness.

10 laps on cotton and 50 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a very nice shave and I am BBS for the win! Yup, that was some good stuff right there. I don’t have to tell you about the performance of Stirling ... it is very good. The scent carried through the entire shave and wa very nice. Had a bit of lather left for the post shave while I cleaned my shave gear too.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! Yes ... yes it was. I smell awesome and ready for the day. Life is good!

Home Front-
Well yesterday was going ok until I fell. Banged up my shoulder, knee and head. It was evening and thought I had walked it off. This morning, my knee is in a real bad way. Have it wrapped and elevated and hope that works. Man 2020 sucks!

Bummer on the knee, they can have delayed reactions like that. You're doing the right thing by keeping it up. Icing it one every 3-4 hours for about 10 minutes a pop is also good.

Best of luck, hope it's nothing major.

Thank you!

My knee is getting better, I can walk and put weight on it. I have stopped the ice, there was only minimal swelling and no bruising. There is a constant dull pain and it’s slightly sensitive to touch. I do struggle a bit to get out of a chair, I need something to put my hands on to lift up. And I cannot squat down at all without piercing pain shooting through it. But I am happy to see it slowly improving.

The Process-
Happy Friday folks! No pic for you today, but it’s all good. The only thing missing from this Stirling line-up is a razor. Soaked my brush in hot water while I had a cup of coffee and got to it. A thirty second load time today. I had some proto-lather going real quick, but settled into a nice thick lather that smelled amazing.

10 laps on cotton and 50 on the leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Oh my gosh, that was an amazing shave! Either I haven’t been paying attention or the strop woke up this edge. She was singing load and proud today. Three very smooth, fragrant passes and I am BBS for the win! And you know I had a bit of lather left for a post shave while I cleaned my shave gear.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. A healthy splash of the AS, followed by a second splash and you know everything was right as rain! I am so ready for the day. Life is good!

Very nice Tim! Hope it’s a good Friday for ya!

Thanks Chris!

So far, so good. I have a tech coming out to install wireless high speed internet. It’s line-of-sight and I have a good view of the tower. I am in the sticks, so options are limited. But with all that said, it’s an exciting day!

The Process-
Nice late morning shave today. Grabbed a sample set of Wickhams Cashmere that I picked up on shavedash. I found Wickhams from a Frankincense sample that I was sent by a friend. That scent was really nice but I guess they don’t sell that one anymore. Anyway, today was Cashmere and the missus and I both dig the scent too.

10 laps on cotton and 50 on the leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a very nice shave and I am BBS for the win! I struggle with this sample as the lather seems really light, could probably use a bit more water. The residual slickness is not all that, but seems to get better with each pass. Leading me back to I probably need more water. Still an enjoyable shave. I had a bit of lather left for a post shave while I cleaned my shave gear too.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. A healthy splash of the ASB and everything was right as rain! It is an ASB, but very thin and absorbs quickly. This set delivers a really nice post shave feel as well. Life is good!
