The Process-
A very nice late morning shave. I did soak the boar instead of just wetting it. I also dropped my load time down to 20 seconds and whipped up a really nice lather.

Hit the cotton for 10 laps and the leather for 60 laps. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Very smooth three passes and I am BBS for the win! Still had a bit of lather left for a post shave while I cleaned my shave gear.

Finished up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! Another great start to a new day. I am clean shaved and smelling great. Life is good!

The Process-
A nice shave this morning with no rush for once. I had a bit more time today and really enjoyed the shave. Who am I kidding, I enjoy most shaves. Gaelic Tweed hasn't been used in a bit, so it got the nod. I thought I would take a play from Chris' book and lowered my load time to 20 seconds and whipped up a nice, yet thinner lather. It did smell great though. I forgot that this brush can be a lather hog. But even with that, it did a bang up job.

Hit the cotton for 10 laps and the leather for 40 laps. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Well ... maybe a smidge of drama. I had a hard landing and knew it when it happened, but luckily it didn't draw any blood. Other than that, it was smoothing sailing. Had a nice smooth shave and I am BBS for the win! Since the brush is a lather hog, I had plenty of lather left for a post shave while I cleaned my shave gear.

Finished up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! Yes it was. I am clean shaved and smelling great. Life is good!

Home Front-
Had dinner with the missus younger son and his wife on Saturday. Sunday was my birthday and a lazy day was had. The missus got a phone call early Sunday and it was her oldest son. He may have been exposed to The Rona at work. He called because he couldn't help him mom get my birthday present. She had to wait until the last minute to buy because of storage. She is getting me a large tool chest. Can I get a #awesome in here? Well, he wants to stay away for a bit and Deb let the secret out of the bad. So goofed off for the day (with no tool chest) and we were going to grab dinner. I wanted Ihop and that Spicy Serrano Omelet. Got there and they were closed for maintenance. NO ... man my birthday was ruined and 2020 sucks. It's all good though, I will live.

#awesome!

Happy belated birthday Tim, sorry your grub stop was closed. What’d you end up eating instead?

GREAT trades! What’s the razor? Mamba?

Oh and feel free to take the page and copy it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. We ended up a Waffle House (small town offering).

Great call on the razor, it is a Mamba 70. I’ll give it a try tomorrow. I haven’t had a modern razor shave in a long time.

I didn’t know there was a Fiesta Omelette, I’ll have to check that out.
I love it. Tomatoes, onions, jalapenos and ham chunks all folded into their whipped egg omelette. I haven't been to WH since before the pandemic. I used to hit it up early every Saturday.

Early morning shave with mostly new kit. A new razor, soap and AS. The razor did very well and delivered an effortless BBS. The soap smells nice and lathers well. This is a weaker scent and the AS will pick it up a but. Very nice shave. Life is good!
