I got the General today and man first impression is very nice. Gonna use it a week or so and then pass it along to Chad!

Got there early, enjoy and post your thoughts
First impression was very very promising. The smooth handle was the only real turnoff for me if I had one. I loaded a Schick P-30 and got a 3 pass DFS- . First shave with a really nice blade and it feels extremely more mild than my beloved Kate. If a couple more shaves are this mild I may send it off early to Chad as I tend to like a bit more aggression than this shave gave me.

You have any Feather Pro Supers? Turns it up just a little with a nice bit of blade feel yet still retaining practically all of the smoothness. Supers are my default blade in mild AC style razors.
I do have some Gus thanks for that suggestion! I was wondering if this is one of the razors that they supposedly do not fit in, I may try those next go around.
Took Gus’s suggestion and swapped the P-30 out for a Pro Super.

Gonna get in one last shave and hopefully get it sent off to the next victim by Tuesday.
Oh if that is the case I would ask that you ship it after Thanksgiving if possible. I'm out of town and won't be back til Monday after the holiday. Unless it says it will be delivered that day then it should be fine.

That same thing happened to me yesterday. I think it must be a problem with the forum software. It’s starting to be a trend!
Ok folks I will send the tracking info to Chad, Dave, and Josh tomorrow it is leaving my place today. My kid (or me) misplaced the blades that were with it originally so I stuck in a full pack of some Schick Prolines to replace them. Hope that’s ok.
That's okay with me! Lol I've been dying to try those prolines.
