Wilkinson stick (11)
Century badger brush
Lime Sec

About 16 hours from my last shave. Trying to 3017 the extra from two Wilkinson sticks that I out into a twist up. 11 shaves down, maybe a week or 10 days left? Can't wait to finish it, not because it's bad, I get great shaves from it, but I want to get back to my two day 3017 rotation of Arko and Palmolive Lather. Sounds odd or contradictory , I know. But we're all a bit odd here, right? Lol

Bonus shave. I work mostly nights, but on off days I kinda sorta try to be on a daytime schedule. So my hours when I'm up sometimes offer opportunity for extra shaves, other than the regular 24 interval.
Last shave was at 2 am, this second of this day was at 6 pm.

My goal is 7 shaves from a blade minimum, but sometimes I get bored or impatient to try something different and change them out sooner.

Soaps and creams, I have at least a decade worth so I don't care how much I use.

I’ve not had a graveyard shift, but most of my jobs have either been evening/night or very early morning. Makes pinning down a life-rhythm difficult, especially if you have family.

Glad you’re finding fun ways to fill the time!

That sounds....terrible
It is what it is. My wife graduates from nursing school in two months, has a job offer already starting July 1. I'll see where she ends up, days or nights, and I have enough seniority that I can bump anyone at will. If she ends up working days I'll probably switch myself.

The Wilkinson stick has been getting very mushy so I found an empty soap container and started a clown soap, or frankensoap. I also added the tiny amount of Tabac to it, seemed about the size of a sunflower seed. Before I put the soap in I did the soldering iron trick to the bottom.

I got a titanium handle and put it on the GC. Very light, moved the balance point to make the razor head heavy, which I like.
Kept my eye and feel on riding the cap, and the shaves have been much smoother.

Razorock Eco
Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
Arko
Razorock 400 Noir
Clubman Lime Sec

I am intrigued by the Eco razor. I find it's a different kind of shaving experience, while using the same kind of blades. No need to order injectors, SE, or some kind of proprietary blade. Just snap or cut a DE in half. I put my new titanium handle on it. Very light touch, and ride the cap. Riding the safety bar will cause a rougher shave.

The head size is about the same size as a DE. The blade is held at a different angle than a DE relative to the handle. I can't explain the geometry but the razor works. IMG_20200401_181242.jpgIMG_20200401_181201.jpg

I have a few razors and brushes from Razorock. Thank goodness I haven't dropped down the soap rabbit hole from them, except the 6 What the Puck I have in my soap stash.
Razorock is a pretty good value.

Got in two shaves today, 0130 and 1600.

Well the Crown blades are definitely a no-go for me. Certainly not the smoothest, sharpest or closest shaves for me. But I did enjoy the Tabac.
Had a hankering to try it with a Treet Black Beauty, so I loaded one up. Much nicer shave. That being said, the Eco will go to the sidelines for now and I'm back to DE land tomorrow. If anyone wants to borrow the Eco to play with, just let me know.
