This has certinaly been an interesting week. Seemed like it should feel like a short week, but it just seems to go on and on. I don't know how much press there was, but I do know it made it to social media. We had some major tech glitch that caused countless systems to go down nationwide for us. Luckily it was just a major PITA instead of effecting safety. Then today after work is the youngest's actual high school graduation which should be when it's nice and windy and getting cool out. Because it's so late in the day, we'll be doing the family graduation dinner tomorrow night. My daughter did decide to come up for all of it, so that's a bonus. Hoping I might be able to sneak out a little early tomorrow to spend more time with her.

Busy times last few days. Graduation Thursday evening and things had warmed up so we weren't frozen out but the sun was setting behind the stage so all the pics of the actual graduation sucked. Then my daughter and I had lunch on Friday, she hung out in my office a bit and then did some shoe shopping for her. Also let the tenents know about the move and all went well. Those in our house thanked us for their 5 years there and that this might finally push them to buy a house, which they've been wanting to do. The one living downstairs is interested in renting the whole house after we leave so that might make things easier too.

Well, I fell like Chris of CBL fame in my shave today. Yesterday this beast caught on my skin, but I stopped before any pressure was applied so it didn't dig in. Today, when I was going horizontal across my cheek it happened again, but dug in a bit. THEN, mere seconds later it happened again just a little distance away causing a parallel cut. So I waited with anticipaiton and sure enough the red shows up. And then a little stripe on my neck that I didn't even know occurred. Lots of alum and then switching to styptic I finally got them stopped. No body has mentioned them, but they sure are a lot more visible than their usual stop at the top of my cheek which gets hidden with my glasses.

Was bummed last night. We had an interview lined up with a Make-A-Wish family that we've been trying to get scheduled since December and have had cancelled several times. The volunteers were all on the call and no family. One of the volunteers had actually worked for MAW in the past in another part of the country and said this isn't totally unusal. If there are things going on with the child or family, they aren't always willing to share it with the volunteers and then the office calls them and finds out what's really going on. Anyway, lots of lame meetings today.
