Eric, you are not only a refined man of taste and character, but also science. Please don't tell me you shake your maritinis?
Stirred gin martini. 2:1 Ratio. Like a splash of something citrus (a spritz of Cointreau for example or oil from a twist of lemon/orange peel) to round out the flavors.

This just seems an all in one thermos/drink thingy. You can stir in a shaker, just spin it around and around.

The other director who has been gone for a month returned yesterday. Just in time as our sister hospital had a small survey. But today I got to download the stuff I had been covering for her. And this afternoon we have the first of two graduation ceremonies for our youngest.

Graduation went well. It's a small program that she's part of so they had something little the teachers wrote about each student they would read when they were on stage. So our thought of how quick it would be were dashed, but at least it was inside on soft seats. The actual high school graduation will be outside around 5pm next week when the afternoon winds should be picking up. Given that the youngest is 18 and done with highschool, we had one of "the talk"s last night about how we can all live together as adults which includes no more curfew. Freaking parenting.

So Panteha and your daughter agreed to let you go out after curfew now???

No Curfew? That's nuts. My "adult" kids all moved out fairly early but while they continued to live with us we had a loose curfew of around midnight. The idea being two-fold. One, we all know nothing good happens between 12am and 3am so there was very little reason to be out much later than midnight. The second thing being that while thye lived under our roof we would naturally be aware of their comings and goings AND stress accordingly when they are not home. So out of respect for the stress it might cause (mom) they would not stay out all night. Fortunatly, my kids were good about respecting the loose bounderies and communicating well.

Per the Gear Proclomation of the Twentythird of May it is now a Friday leading into a three-day weekend! Hazza! Shaping up to to be a mello weekend. Put a deposit down for a watch that I'll go look at tomorrow and likely not buy, and then buy a different one. And Sunday driving down to have lunch with my daughter. Otherwise I'll see if I can get the wife to sort through some more areas of the house to thin out stuff prior to starting to pack for moving.

It was nice of Gear to grant us a 3-day weekend. Thougth, I'm not sure how he fanagled another for himself right after. Was a productive weekend. Ran a few errands on Saturday which included getting the Omega that's been on my need to get list for some time. That concludes my Omega purchases for sime time now. Drove down and took my daughter out to lunch Sun, then and got invited to eat at the restaurant the youngest's boyfriend is a host at. I'm not sure what the point of that was because he was working and just sat us so we didn't really spend any time with him. But we didn't want to turn her down if she thought somehow that was us "getting to know him". Then yesterday was spent zoning out relaxing all morning. If not for breaking my streak of shave I likely would have skipped yesterday as it didn't happen until noon. Then we got a little productive and packed up all the serving dishes we keep in the buffet. We tell the tenants we're moving back at the end of the week. It will be good to get that out of the way as we're apprehensive in causing the disruption of moving for others eventhough it's all valid.

I had a 1981 Olds Omega. Bought it new and loved it. Four cylinder and it got great highway mileage. Cloth seats, AC, the works. I gave it to my ex-wife in the divorce, and she ran it into the ground. I hope you have better luck with yours! 👍
