Once again proving that great minds think alike. I insisted on the tip-out, though my wife was skeptical. Like a cherished, well placed rug, it really ties the whole room together. I was firm in my belief and resolutely stood my ground. It was my contribution to our kitchen design - I magnanimously conceded the rest of the design to Sheri. As you see below, my insistence has paid off handsomely (you’ve got to go with the tip-out). ☺️

Well, I feel as I have let you all down and the demolition hasn't even started. My contribution to the design is a black farmhouse sink. So there will be no cabinet in front of the sink to tip out.

His punishment is to train harder than Gear for as long as the kitchen construction lasts.

Got to the 6th use of this blade which is where I usually dispose of an AC blade. I started on a blood note and ended on a bloody note. Had a nice big in on my left cheek that took some styptic to stop. I still have a bunch of these things in the container to use. Maybe they would be less dangerous in the OREN.

Leaving work early to meet the contractor at the countertop place because it's not open on the weekends. Which means I might actually be free to get my hair cut this Saturday. I'm long overdue and even got so irritated I went to my barber shop last Sunday when the "trainee" who is on her own now works. But 10min after open there was no sign of get and I had errands to run so I gave up. And if we're going to get rid of daylight savings and the penny, can we just make Independence Day the first Friday in July from now on? Then we get a 3-day weekend instead of a holiday potentially stuck in the middle of the week.

Hope everyone had a good extended weekend. I left work early on Thursday to meet the contractor at stone/tile place. Ended up looking through everything they had and then just the wife and I went to another place to find something we liked for the counters. 3 hours later a choice was made. The rest of the weekend was poking around at more packing, cleaning, and several trips to Goodwill. I think I finally have beat Gear. Today is my Monday AND Friday. I need to burn some PTO so I'm taking tomorrow off.

This run with the Feather Pro went just fine. This is likely how I'll use up the rest of them. Time to get back to some guarded open blade shaves.
