When we were in DC, we rode the elevator with a couple of guys with these glorious beards that were nice and straight, long, and had a sharp flat edge across the bottom. Since then I've had in the back of my mind that it would be pretty cool if I could do that because it looked sharp. Not sure if that's why, but I started growing mine out again. My wife doesn't prefer it that way because I tend to mess with it a lot as it gets longer, but I'm just experimenting. The problem is my beard is pretty curly so even with combing it turns out bushy instead of nicely organized in a downward direction. So I thought I might try beard oil to see if it makes it more tamed. This morning was my first application followed by three hand washings to get the oil off my hands. Then I was careful to not get shave soap all over my beard during the shave. I guess I should reverse the shave and oil application but I wanted to get it in with as much moisture in the hair as possible. Anyway, this threw my routine off enough I forgot to use Thayers and the Darwin AS.

Get a beard iron. Specifically meant to tame the beard. Small, effective. I use one in the for my clients with “zz” beards. I pm’d you

It is also interesting to me that the people that are commenting either have follicular challenges or Babyface beards🤣😂😂😂

If ya'll like straight-up wood-scented soaps, I would recommend this one for sure.

What up, crew? Busy busy day today. At least the sun is out. Yesterday the winds were howling and the rain was pouring. I finally gave in and subscribed to Paramount +. I'm in the middle of Picard and Lioness now. Wife is watching Lioness with me. As part of our top movie watching, we watched Parasite this weekend. Just from the name, I figured it was going to be horror, but nope. This is another example of why this exercise is good for us because it's not a plot that would normally catch my attention, but the entire thing was subtitled, which would be an immediate nope from me. But it was worth the watch.
