On the last Drinks & Daves we talked a little about new phrases for things that don't need new phrases. The Bay Area is currently feeling the effects from an atmospheric river. Or...rain. I know for sure not that long ago there was no talk of atmospheric rivers. Maybe a jet stream, or a low pressure area, all of a sudden now there are new fangled rivers that never existed before I guess. Or maybe some weather people don't feel important enough just saying we'll be getting rain.

You forget that English is the most descriptive language on the planet. Why say rain when you can call it 15 other things? Just look at how many ways there are to refer to the many parts of the human body. (hey look....I tied this back to Eric's Bingo game.....maybe he'll give me an extra call)

The phrase “abnormal skin contour in the gluteal region likely secondary to overlying clothing (booty shorts)” still feels professional and appropriate for a pelvic x-ray right?

I wanted to get this in here so Bruce didn't have to wait too long for an update. The Holy Black frustrates me with their making all their shaving products very hard to get. This Cowboy Coffee scent is amazing and it sucks I'll never be able to get the matching soap. They posted something once about them not releasing "this popular fragrance" again. If it was popular, what's the point of not releasing it anymore?? Anyway, I should have enough soap to get by. It's just some hit the mark more than others. Weekend was good. I got to go spend some time with my daughter so that was good. And I made chicken adobo for the first time on Sunday. It was a hit with the wife and I learned a few things to make it even better next time.

Well, I made sure to catch up on my journal on Monday and do I get so much as a "good day" from Bruce? No sir, I sure don't. I mean, I know he's busy sitting around and everything, but you would think he could squeeze in a little time. Ya know??

I’m so ashamed of myself. . FTR, I don’t just sit around all day, e.g., I go to the kitchen to get coffee, food, and snacks. And I go to the bathroom because (see above), I do laundry, clean litter boxes, feed our three cats, pet our three cats and my wife’s bearded dragon, take out the trash and recyclables, etc. As you can tell, I’m quite busy. Now please quit fussing over my unintentional slight, get online and buy some watches and cigars!
