So finally the plumber is supposed to be over to fix several pipes today. One is the drain line from the kitchen sink which was causing all the issues. Then there are a bunch of copper pipes up there where I guess some dude left the flux in place and that slowly ruins the copper? So he's replacing what he can get to of those. So if all goes well we can use the sink again tonight and run the dishwasher.

Ya'll might have seen in the news we have the largest strike in the history of health care looming. Again, can't say much in public. I just wish everyone voting for this stuff had all the facts. I'm pretty confident we wouldn't be in this position if they did. More often than not, these things get worked out at the 11th hour. But, of course, that's not before a ton of resources go into preparing for it.

Here we are at Monday again. But Gear isn't even here, Sam is living Groundhog's day, and Dave is calling it Saturday. So I really don't know what's going on. All I know is I have to keep showing up for 5 days.

See....this is why we need people to be consistent: Bougie Dave doesn't know what day it really is.

Which reminds me....Stefan will have your message chair warmed to the proper temperature this evening. And your first glass of "beverage" chilled to its proper temperature.
Hey Stefan, I think it is Massage Chair, unless you are planning to just give him a patio chair where he can read his e mail..... Can't get good help anywhere LOL:ROFLMAO:

Well dang it. I missed a label on one of my entries on my shave tracking app and this blade had one more shave on it than I thought it did. Luckily I made it out alive.

Had a fun show last night from a professional-level YouTuber. Hopefully, those who aren't even into cigars will find interest in the conversation. The Farmer's Market is at work today so that means extra carbs. The huge cookies and empanadas for lunch. I may not live through that one. I have an orientation session with Make-A-Wish tomorrow night. I don't remember what made me check, but they listed volunteer opportunities in our county so I applied thinking it would be a good way to give back as I've taken care of a good number of MAW kids in my career. In the materials they sent out, it says there are over 800 volunteers in the Bay Area, so I'm not sure how great the need actually is. We'll see.

Yo yo yo, guess that Dave? It's Friday! Our department has an offsite for the latter half of the day so that means, free lunch. But since my staff wasn't in charge of ordering, who knows if Cobb salad will be involved. Last night was good. It started with a delicious tamale dinner by way of Dave of the short-haired Arizona variety. BTW, we watched a restaurant review show where someone speaking with a Hispanic accent pronounced tamale like "tamallllll" with no Canadian "eh" at the end. But then of course it got added back in when it was pluralized. I have never heard this in my life. This brings me to a topic better suited for our live show, what about people speaking in one language and then rolling on a huge accent or switching to another language for one word and then back again? Anywho, also had the Make-A-Wish meeting last night. Learned some interesting facts about the organization and I'll move on with the process. You have to fill out an application, then an interview, reference check, and background check (sorry Rich).

Da boyz were by yesterday to re-drywall the bathroom and closet that were ripped up. Today they come back to paint the bathroom and then the plumber comes to put in a new toilet. Then BAM! I'm back in the den. Had to move my stuff out for the painting so it was a quick shave today upstairs with just what I had left in there. Anyway, the den will now be featuring a paint that looks like an eggshell to the untrained eye. We actually had a custom mix flown in from Florance which is a washed-out nacreous colour with a tint of champagne. Stefan is sure to enjoy cleaning this room so much more now.

Traditionally, Tamal can be anything from a plural standpoint so you could have a Tire Mall Casserole, but all has the same components whether it be plantain or other types of Binder, or a tamale is a singular wrapped version. It also depends where the Hispanic restaurant or culture is from in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, South America you will hear the word Tamal, where, in the southwest, or the Sonoran Mexican food you were here, tamale

For instance, in Puerto Rico up a pastele is basically a tamale made out of plantain. However, you’ll hear it called Tamal de Plantano
