Sam, if I didn't change up the details, you would never know about today's Cobb salad. It made me very sad. This was from a vendor I wish people would stop ordering from and my first Cobb salad from them. First, it was wrapped in that food service plastic wrap that stinks. That's bad enough. But then it came with a vinaigrette. I know, who puts vinaigrette on a Cobb salad? And why is vinaigrette spelled that way? If not for Google I wouldn't have even gotten close. Anyway, sad days indeed.

What a day. Today is the big meeting day for me, but I usually just have to participate and maybe present a few things. Being down one of my nurses meant I had to prepare one of the meetings and run it this afternoon, and make sure another meeting actually ends with follow-up actions. Then another staff was unexpectedly out today and she usually organizes and runs our biggest Quality meeting. So this morning has been all the last-minute edits and changes to the meeting packages over and over. I think we're all set, but it will be a super busy 2nd half of the day.

Back at home, the handyman and a member of the owner's family came over to look at the water damage on the 2nd floor. Handyman and whoever is supposed to come do the demo today to see what else needs to be done and the extent of the damage. The throne in the shave den will certainly be gone for some time, the question will be if the shower and sink remain usable or if I'll have to take a Sam-sized shave kit upstairs for the foreseeable future. And in other news my wife and youngest are going to San Diego this weekend to see the oldest. And my daughter will be gone with her mom. So it'll be bachelor life for me! You're all invited over!! As long as you leave by 9 because I don't have to feel bad going to bed early.

Update: today's Cobb salad looks more promising. From Panera, so it does have Green Goddess dressing whatever the heck that is. But the cookie looks much better and the bread is a slice of baguette.

So where were we? Oh right, today kinda sucked too, and no Cobb salad to make up for it. It started with me having to shave upstairs because of my den being in mid-demo. It looks like when they are done I'll be able to move the toilet out of the shower and have use of the shower and sink until they get around to next steps. Had a state surveyor who come today so that pretty much negated any other work getting done. AND it's back to school night, so no scotch and stogie when I get home. Tomorrow should be chill at work, other than plucking along with stuff that didn't get done today. Then guess what @heysi, THEN it will be the weekend.
